Micah and Gretchen

This is the story of the return of Micah, the sea turtle, to Terra Sea. Gretchen, the humpback whale, continues to care for her fellow creatures and is there to meet Micah when he takes his first swim toward home. Our kind whale knows all about Micah’s accident and she knows that he will be uneasy in deep water after his flipper recovery has taken so long. Gretchen stays by the sea turtle’s side day after day, nudging him along, until he becomes confident on his own. Micah is a very lucky guy to have Archie and Gretchen to look out for him - they will be friends for three lifetimes.

You might think that whales and turtles and people cannot truly care for one another, but this is not the case. The Land of Terra is filled with creatures who always put the needs of others first and always, always care. Perhaps if we care about Terra in the same way, she will thrive ...
